SPECIAL DISPENSATION FOR 7-ELEVEN FRANCHISEES
7-Eleven has made an application to the ACCC to allow 7-Eleven store owners to reduce trading hours and/or close as necessary due to the impact of COVID-19 on foot traffic and revenue.
These circumstances variably affect all franchisees, based largely on the store’s location.
On that basis, the decision to reduce trading hours and/or close ought to be extended to all franchisees. Further, the decision to close/reduce hours ought to be a joint decision of the Franchisees and 7-Eleven, not left to 7-Eleven to pick and choose.
The ACCC has requested that any Franchisee who wishes to either close/reduce trading hours, make a submission by this Friday 22nd May 2020.
If you wish to make a submission, please contact Class PR today: contact@classpr.com.au
